Remember to go to a martial arts class? Unless you are a black belt in your own academy reading this right now, you left to go to a certain point. It's not hard to remember why most people do not go. You have thrown upon the shoulders of other people around, slammed to the ground and repeatedly hit in the head. You may have been written to and emotional put-down. Does not look like much fun. So why did you in the first place?
There are several reasons that people are attracted to the martial arts. A big one, belong to a group of people. This class can be a quarter and it feels good to be part of this group. People also go to class because they are attracted to the aesthetic beauty of movement and enjoy doing complex sequences of friends. Martial arts are also based on the battle and some people just like a physical fight and prove they are better than others. This last reason is one of the main reasons why many people are not in class today.
I am a person who likes the physical movement of martial arts and performing beauty. However, getting into conflict and fighting is not something that I really enjoy. Kicks, punches and acrobatic movements are beautiful, but the idea of machismo to be better than other people because you can beat the hate. Although in karate class when I was five years old and was bullied by other children around, I thought "this is not for me." I love the movement too! So where I can go where I want to practice fighting but not really fighting all the time? Well, there are several answers to this question.
There seems to be a new wave of businesses and companies that run martial arts movement without work in combat too. There are classic aerobic kickboxing (think tae-bo) Brazil new and strange dance-fight-game capoeira. This trend has a new wave of beauty determination, and a little more fun, all kicking and punching without bloody fingers. Your body will get a great work out and you will not have to worry about the black eye.
Then back to the martial arts. Bring some friends and make a night of kicks, punches, and throws, and laughter. There will definitely be some new fun place to try local in your area. Most of them have a way to test a class for free or at a very low price. If you do not like the monitor or just the general atmosphere of the place then do not go back. Find exactly what you want and go for it!
